For nursing students considering student politics, I’d advise them to first assess their passion for leadership and community engagement. Reflect on how involvement in student politics aligns with their academic and career goals. Seek mentorship from current student leaders or faculty members who can provide guidance and support. Finally, be prepared for the challenges and responsibilities that come with the role, but also embrace the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the school community.
