A nurse’s journey, a burden to bear,
From dawn’s first light to the moon’s soft glow, A tale unfolds in the healing’s flow.
Surgical whispers, the theater’s song, A symphony of care where I belong, Myomectomy’s delicate touch, Appendix removed, a healing clutch.
Hernioraphy’s repair, a seamless thread, Hysterectomy’s hush, where pain is shed, In post-op dance, a lone nurse’s plea, Guiding each step, setting spirits free.
Four wards I mounted, a lone crusade, With ten patients each, a serenade, Day and night, no slumber’s kiss,
In sleepless vigil, healing’s bliss.
A hundred souls, a silent vow,
Newly post-op, I nurture them now,
One day, two days, the countdown begun, Till discharge whispers, “The healing’s done.”
A dance of gratitude to the divine,
For operations triumphant, a flawless line, A hundred percent, a success so sweet, In the tapestry of care, every heartbeat.
Thanks to those whose hands reached out, Supporters strong, dispelling doubt,
To Prof (Dr.) John Sotunsa, a guiding star, Whose vision led from near to far.
In the theater’s glow and the wards’ embrace, A nurse’s tale, a compassionate grace,
From surgery’s start to post-op’s end,
